Swing 4 Schlesinger is a golf tournament organized to benefit David Schlesinger, his wife and three young children.
David, a healthy, active 43-year-old, woke on November 12, 2007, from emergency surgery to find himself paralyzed from his mid-chest down. What felt like normal sports-related pain — an ache that took a backseat to his life's responsibilities — was really an undiagnosed disk compression resulting in a ruptured cervical disk. At that moment, David's and his family's life changed. David's stamina, determination and family support became core for his progress.
The Swing 4 Schlesinger tournament aims to raise funds so that David and his family can focus on his recovery.

All golfers receive BBQ lunch, on-course refreshments, cart and greens fees, range balls, tournament gift, awards
reception and dinner. Sign up with a foursome or individually (and we will assign you to a foursome). All levels of
play are welcome. In the event of a weather cancellation, your contribution will be treated as a donation.

Norbeck Golf & Country Club is located at 17200 Cashell Road, Rockville, Maryland. To reach the club,
take I-270 North to Exit 4A, Montrose Road East. Keep left for Tower Oaks Blvd. Turn left at dead end, onto Tower Oaks
Blvd. Turn right onto Wootten Parkway (turns into Rt. 28). Proceed 5.7 miles to Georgia Avenue. Turn left onto Georgia
Avenue North (Rt. 97). Turn left onto Emory Lane. Turn right onto Cashell Road. The club's entrance is one mile on the left.
